10th Anniversary Season design for Choral Chameleon. The design consists of an overall season image with subsequent individual concert images for print and digital assets.
I created a skeleton sculpture that I photographed and then manipulated in post.
Anniversary Season Description:
“One of the things that captivates all of us about the art of ensemble singing is that, for singers, the human psyche is attached to the instrument. This means that all of the beauty, emotion, memories, reactions, and impulses of life are intrinsically attached to the instrument and are inseparable from it.
When a group of people come together to sing, there are exponents of all of these.
In a series of three concert programs, we will explore three main aspects of this:
SPIRIT - the unseen, private and most vulnerable part of the musician
BODY - the vessel and the instrument of the singer
MIND - the hive, the site of action and the neurological center of musical cognition.
Show art work for The Mad Ones' Drama Desk nominated production of Samuel & Alasdair: A Personal History of the Robot War. In an alternate global history, the cold war was decided not by detente, not by nuclear holocaust, but by massive robot invasion. Among the survivors, a team of Russian radio hosts, warmed to a lost culture of 1950s Americana, broadcast a story of brothers’ love drawn straight from the American heartland.
I combined hand drawn silhouette illustrations of the three members of the cast with a vintage Soviet era map.
Empire City Mens Chorus commissioned me to create artwork for their concert i carry your heart inspired by an e.e. cummings poem.
i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

I was commissioned to illustrate the Williamsburg neighborhood where Angela and Kris were getting married. Using a combination of street photography and Google Earth, I hand illustrated the invite, rsvp, thank you card, and save the date.
Backdrop CMS, a comprehensive CMS for small to medium sized businesses and nonprofits, wanted a mascot for the company that could be described as a "lap dragon." I combined the best parts of a dragon and a puppy to create this fun loving mascot named Drop.
